watching them take flight
white flight suspended in air
noses guiding them, pointers piercing the air
gently landing onto the back of a black cow, stark contrast
friendship of egret and cow
speaking ‘cowret’
their mutually agreed language
finding the way to live in a diverse world
these gentle creatures have found the secret; respect for diversity

Barefoot Cajun lives on the Cajun Prairie in South Louisiana with his husband, farm cats, some chickens, dogs, gardens, among a host of other living creatures and interesting artifacts.
