One greater than she

Soleil shined bright through the darkest hours of her life. Her life filled with warmth and a glow of whimsical happiness through days filled with the heaviness of fog so thick she was saturated with its wet, heavy blanket.

Soleil had lived through the trials of emotional non-homeostasis, debilitating mental challenges that often sent her to her knees as Job in the Old Testament, and she cried out in agony, “if not for you, Jesus, I’d be vanished embroiled within my own lack of homeostatic solace.”

But on her worse days, she lived a life of warmth in the sun wrapped in a vail dropped upon her by Jesus sealed in the warmth of God. There she flourished like a beautiful egg under the mother’s belly in preparation of the future.

Oh, soul of my soul, spirit of the living God, you are my joy, salvation; just as I lose hope you scoop me up and lead me to the heavens by the sweet waters that flow in sedate rivers.

Laying down her potsherd as she scraped her sores of agony, oozing between physical life and death, she received life eternal

from the one who gives life.

Soleil, warmth, kindness, available and contrite, fell on her knees before the loving God and said, “Though I walk in sunshine or the veil of thunder, I am yours. You’re the only one I stand in need of!”

Soleil, obedient Soleil, a lovely child of God endured life with sun and rain, smooth skin and boils as huge as marbles; steadfast, she was His child knowing full well she was born of the One Greater than she!
